Webb1 juni 2024 · The need for integrating photonics and electronics has been clear for the past decade, but several issues have limited its implementation: (1) integration incompatibility, (2) design incompatibility, (3) yield, (4) reliability, and (5) fiber attach. We describe progress on each of these issues over the past decade. WebbThe Photonics Handbook is a unique collection of technical design and applications articles, as well as technology primers presenting the basics of the photonics technology. Also included are illustrations, charts, graphs and tables of constants, formulas and specifications that are useful for work in the photonics field.
