The finish has a little bit of a sheen but not shiny. Even the visor is fairly understated and the colors and design is very subdued. Same as original, but may not include all of the parts you expect I purchased the replacement Roc Loc 4 after eventually wearing out the original, and the replacement has been great as it is exactly what the helmet came with originally.
