Both the Windows 10 and Windows 11 implementations of File History include the Restore Personal Files, Select Drive, Exclude Folders and Advanced Settings options. WebFile history will save whatever you tell it to. But it won’t save the history to the same drive the files are on. It defaults to the usual user folders; docs, pictures,music,video, but you can add other locations and exclude files or folders. Not sure how one external drive on 2 pcs would work, since File History backs up files on a schedule.
