Yep same issue since 5.0. Quit game after a few months due to this but been back since though see this hasn't been fixed, this only occurs with ffxiv.

This is generally to fix those with DX11 crashes, where the FPS excedes what FFXIV is used to, causing a sudden pause or acceleration in frames per second and a crash. WebSo if your game is crashing in DX11 mode try simply resetting voltage to default or even undervolt themon your GPU a tiny bit first. Then if that doesnt work try undervolting/reducing power limits of your cpu and ram as well as gpu like I did in apps. WebBy the looks of things, checking the "Disable Fullscreen Optimization" option in the settings for the ffxiv_dx11.exe helped a lot. I was able to play for around 4 hours with no issues whatsoever. Not a single crash, lag spike, nothin. Seeing as this is a random crash most of the time I'll try to keep this posted if things start crashing again.
