Mar 16, 2024 · WebI run Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I have a second hard drive to record to and it's definitely fast enough. It works fine for Bandicam, FRAPS, and Mirillis Action. The reason why I'm using Dxtory is that this is the only game that detects the game I want to record (that and OBS, but I find OBS a paint to use). I tried the following codecs:

WebDxTory was a lagfest for me, and even worse on the recording. Worth noting if you've got a newer Intel CPU you can use QuickSync with OBS to offload the encoding to the graphical core of the CPU, so it ends up using 0% CPU as listed under task-manager.
