WebOct 1, 2024 · Metro is celebrating California Clean Air Day by encouraging everyone to take transit instead of driving with free rides on Metro Bus, Bike and Rail on Wednesday, Oct. 6! Metro will be offering free rides on trains from midnight to 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 6. Buses are currently not collecting fares. WebOur mission is to protect public health, improve air quality, and prevent climate change. Our Approach It takes more than one person or one group to make change. We work collaboratively with advocates, organizations, companies, legislators and more across the state to find cooperative solutions to California’s most pressing air quality issues.
