To adjust, slide the 0.016 feeler gauge between the valve stem and the adjustment nut. Use one 1/2" wrench on the 2 flat spots of the tappet and the other to tighten or loosen the adjustment nut. Turn the adjustment nut until there is a slight drag on the feeler gauge.
