WebThe metal bar should be clipped in AS you're inserting the plastic stabilizer pieces. You have to have the switch out to do it the way you're supposed to. You MIGHT be able to get away with positioning it with tweezers or hemostats juuuuuuust right. I think it would be less frustrating to desolder the switch though.
