WebDec 20, 2024 · Despite their massive size, Bugbears are naturally sneaky, granting proficiency in the Stealth skill and allowing for an extra 2d6 damage on the first attack every combat. Where they really shine, though, is in their Long-Limbed feature. When a monk triggers their Flurry of Blows as a Bugbear, they can make their strikes from 10 feet away. WebThe MOTM Bugbear lets us add 2d6 to our attacks if we're attacking someone who hasn't gone yet, so we get to do 2d6+2d6 per bolt, and we'll cast twice with Action Surge. We lose two levels of spell progression to do this, but for a one round NOVA I think this is worth it. Stars Druid 2/Light Cleric X.

Is there a build that bugbears can utilize to force movement to juggle an enemy in and out of reach during its reactions but leave it still able to attack with its actions on its turn? WebWeapon without reach seems like OK for Bugbear and hit-and-run tactics, but most enemies at higher levels have reach 10 ft, so 15 ft from reach weapon + Long Limbs is necessary later on. WebJun 6, 2024 · This is a build I thought up for the bugbear race in volo's guide to monster, specifically to capitalize on their unique trait of having +5 feet to their reach with weapons. The core idea is pretty simple. A bubear with a halberd/glaive has a reach of 15 feet.
